TRUTH ABOUT 6 PACK ABS

It took me some time to decide the topic for the next post :).Now the timz over n
today m gonna tell u smthing about building strong ABS from the experience i gained in the last 14 years.

Tell me 1 thing honestly, whats d 1st thing that comes to our mind wn we c this pic????
"OH GOD, I WISH I CUD HAVE SUCH ABS" i guarantee no evn a single person wud think differently.

When i was younger, about 16yrs old(right now m 24 :D) i ws crazy for abs. I did evry possible thing. Training twice a day, doin cardio twice a day 6 times a week, sometimes 1.5 hours nonstop running followed by 1-2 hours wt training, doing 1000 crunches everyday. But nothing worked.
REASON: IMPROPER APPROACH

So i want you all to have a proper approach to achieve ur fitness goals. Building a nice and impressive 6 pack is not an OVERNIGHT process. It may take several months or may b years depending upon ur current level of %age of body fat. What i have seen these days, most of the instructors ask their clients to perform 100 crunches in 1 time and follow the same for 4-5 sets. Few ask them to repeat it evryday. I have a very simple question to all those instructors:
ARE OUR ABDOMINAL MUSCLES MADE UP OF SOME SEPARATE TYPE OF MUSCLE FIBERS?? WHICH NEED NO TIME TO RECOVER????

So i suggest u all to please follow these tips:
1. Treat ur abs as a normal muscle group.
2. Perform 5-6 exercises, 2-3 sets each in a single workout as u do it for any odr muscle group whdr its       chest,legs,shoulders.
3. Alws focus on the FORM and the INTENSITY.
4. Dont forget to stretch ur muscles in btwn sets.
5. Have proper nutrition not only aftr ur workout but all day long.
6. Give them proper time to recover(depending upon the intensity, ur abs may need 2-3 days to recover)

High Intensity Training VS Low Intensity Training


This is my 1st post on my blog. And in this very 1st i wud like to discuss the most important thing that we should know about training i.e. the Intensity of Training. The above picture is self explanatory.Jus c the difference btwn these 2. The marathon runner(LHS) and the 100m Sprinter(RHS) Which type of body u want??
